Dominion Transport inc. ("Dominion", "we") respects the privacy of people who visit its website and use its client portal. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

Information we collect
- Contact form: name, company, email, phone (optional) and the content of your message.
- Client portal: account information (name, email, phone, notification preferences), order-related information (vehicles, VIN, pickup and delivery addresses, documents, photos) and billing information.
- Technical data: to protect the form against abuse, your IP address is turned into a non-reversible cryptographic fingerprint before being counted. Our application does not store it in clear text.

- To answer your requests and send you quotes.
- To open and manage your account.
- To carry out transports, document them and keep you informed.
- To invoice our services and receive your payments.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
- To keep the website and the portal secure.
Consent
By sending us your information, you consent to its use for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information. It may be shared with our technology service providers (hosting, database, email delivery), only to the extent necessary for the services they provide to us.
Some of these providers may process information outside Quebec. Where this is the case, such sharing is done in accordance with applicable law.
Cookies and measurement tools
The website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party audience analytics. A functional cookie may remember your language.
The client portal only uses the cookies it needs to work, in particular to keep you signed in. Your display preferences are stored in your browser.
Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, then for as long as our legal obligations require, including accounting and tax obligations. The fingerprints used to limit form abuse are deleted automatically.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted connections, a portal accessible only after authentication, access limited by each user's role, and private, time-limited download links for documents and photos.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information and its correction, ask that its dissemination cease, withdraw your consent and, where the law provides, request its portability.
